Last weekend I treated myself to a weekend in Dublin to visit a university friend who moved there for her work. A bunch of us decided that instead of having a reunion in London as we always do, why not venture over to the land of Leprechauns.
First morning that we were there we headed straight out for brunch and decided to go to Sophie’s Bar at the Dean Hotel. Brunch is my favourite meal to go out for to have a great catch up with friends and Sophie’s did not disappoint.
Sophie’s is located at the 5th floor of the Dean Hotel offering an amazing view of the City of Dublin.
There is both the option of sitting outside on the terrace or inside, both of which are beautifully designed. The highlight of the decor for me though were the adult sized swings by the entrance for you to sit on whilst waiting to be seated.
The food on the menu all sounded amazing and I found it so hard to decide on what to have but I ended up opting for the apple, carrot, ginger and kale juice with the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Both of which were super yummy! The bagel was also huge. We all went for different options, you can see a few of them here.
Mid way through our brunch, we thought seeing as it’s such a nice day and venue and its after midday lets order in some Presecco! Lovely start to my Dublin adventure.
