The importance of buying the right type of sportswear that is going to make you feel good about yourself is something that I have mentioned multiple times in my fitness tip articles. it is a great way to motivate you to exercise and there really is nothing worse than wearing something that rides up, restricts your movement or splits when you push yourself that bit harder while exercising or playing a sport.Without a doubt, buying good quality sportswear is a big part of being able to enjoy your chosen sport.
For most people how they look has a big impact on how good they feel. The last thing you need when taking part in sports is to feel self-conscious, zapping your confidence consequently having a negative impact on how you perform.
Fortunately, sportswear retailers are far more aware of this than they used to be. There are many brands out there that are creating stylish, flattering and fashionable sportswear. To give you some help on what is on trend right now I have put together a quick women’s sportswear round up for 2017.
Big logos are on trend
Most of the major manufacturers are using big logos. When I say big, I mean big, some take up the whole of the front of the t-shirts, hoodies and jogging tops that they are featured on. These actually look great, far better than the plain sportswear we have seen in the past few years.
The majority of the women’s sports tops that are available in the shops right now flare slightly at the bottom and are a little longer than we have seen in the past. Adding a little more room around the midriff and over the hips helps to cover up the fact you may be carrying a few extra pounds. So, these little changes make a huge difference to how flattering they are.
Narrower leggings and joggers
Virtually all of the joggers and leggings you will find in the shops this year are either tapered or narrow. However, the fact that the majority of them have elasticated drawstring waists means they are still a good option for those who are a bit hippier than they would like to be. This is especially the case when they are paired with a t-shirt that comes down over the bottom.
If you are looking for a great range of women’s sportswear check out the retailer Simply Be who stocks popular brands such as Nike, Adidas and Under Armour in sizes 8 all the way up to size 22. They really do cater for everyone. In addition, they regularly update their range, making it easy for you to stay on trend.
